Thing 3
How might you use a blog with students? How might they respond to a blog assignment? What concerns about blogging with students do you have? How might you use a blog for other educational purposes (other than with students)?
Thing 2
Why are you participating in 23 Things? What do you hope to learn? What new insights did you have during Thing 1? How does writing on the Internet, knowing anyone could read it, change how you write or feel about writing?
Wow! I'm behind in this course! I'm thankful for a few other teachers in my district who are participating and keeping me on track to finish this!
I'm participating in 23 Things to have the experience to share with other teachers. I believe that I can't help others effectively unless I've experienced something first hand. The time factor is a huge hurdle for implementation for teachers and I can understand that too!
Thing 1 was something I was already familiar with, however, blogging is new to me and it is a little out of my comfort zone to write my feelings out there for anyone to read. Thus far, I've been an avid user of the Internet for everything, but not a contributor. I know that will change in the very near future!
